This is a continuation exercise of Photoshop tools learned in name tag project.
Choose an animal picture and place it somewhere that it wouldn't normally be found.
Things to remember:
1. Make sure animal image is over 500 pixels.
2. Choose a background that is larger than the animal (in pixels).
3. ONLY use internet explorer!! No Chrome.
Key Terms and Concepts:
Resize= EDIT---> TRANSFORM---> SCALE (hold down shift while drag)
Cut Image=LASSO(third down with magnet picture)--->caps lock--->click but don't hold--->click original dropped point to select area.
Fix Edges=Filter (pink)--->select eraser tool---> use black and white squares to change add/subtract--->click on filter button to end
Layers=Always place objects in new layers (NAME YOUR LAYERS!)

Objective:
Students will get started on the basics in Photoshop by creating a
collage of patterns, images, and text to represent them.
Skills:
-Use of Photobooth
-How to drag and drop an image into photoshop
-How to create a size document in photoshop (pixels vs.
inches) (8 by 8)
-Cropping
-Sizing
-Use of Layers (name them)
Procedure:
Step one- create
document 8 by 8
Step two- Find at
least two texts to create your name with
(Call layers name 1, name 2 etc.)
Step three- Find
at least two textures/crop sections of this to create background
(Name layers like this- polka dots1, polka dots 2 etc/
zebraprint1, zebraprint2 etc)
Step four- Take
photo of self on Photobooth and arrange it amongst your design.
